Scraboom: collect scrap before committing to a fight
Mass and magnetic abilities work together. Start by learning a safe collection route and keeping an escape path in view.
Play the gameWorked example
You see loose scrap close to a larger rival. Taking the shortest route puts you beside that rival; going around gives you room to collect and turn away. Choose the route with space rather than chasing every piece of scrap. This is a positioning decision, not a guaranteed safe zone.

Try this
- Collect nearby scrap before seeking a fight.
- Use Q for field boost when scrap is within reach; it strengthens collection rather than being Snake Race's movement boost.
- Before pressing Space to split, check where the smaller parts will land and which rivals are nearby.
Common mistake
Splitting changes the mass of each part. A large total mass does not mean every separated part can safely approach a larger rival. Avoid treating split as a free escape button.
Practice
Compare two short attempts: one focused on collecting without splitting, then one using a deliberate split. Note what happened to your mass and your room to move.
